OMMA AWARDS: BARBIE YOU CAN BE ANYTHING SERIES
We are thrilled to announce that the Barbie You Can Be Anything Series has made it to the finals of the OMMA Awards.
Now in their 17th year, the OMMA Awards were created to honor the best in Online Media, Marketing and Advertising with 39 categories across two sections: Excellence in Online Advertising and Excellence in Media & Marketing. Whether by channel, industry sector or medium, the OMMA Awards cover every corner of the digital advertising industry.
The groundbreaking series is a finalist in the Activism/Public Service: Corporate Responsibility category. Mattel's new episodes of the Barbie You Can Be Anything series are full of inspiration, with an age-appropriate documentary style that's always accessible, but never dumbed-down. One of the six episodes includes Dr. Jane Goodall, and the Goodall Barbie doll was trending on Twitter upon its release. That story got coverage all over the world, including NBC Nightly News. Even Chelsea Clinton posted about her chat with Dr. Goodall to discuss the impact of this partnership, helping broaden the YCBA Series reach even further.
Stay tuned on Oct 4th to see who wins and congratulations to all of the finalists. You can see all the finalists HERE and read more about the OMMAs.
