Be immersed into the world of Descendants: The Rise of Red! Explore multiple rooms inside Red’s castle with several photo opportunities—a Villain Kid experience like no other!

To celebrate “Descendants: The Rise of Red” on Disney+, Disney Branded Television brought the movie’s castle to life at Disney's D23 Expo. With 6.7M views in its first three days of streaming, the film is Disney Branded Television’s most-viewed DCOM premiere ever on the streamer, according to Disney.

Guests were immersed in an experience through the Queen of Hearts and her daughter Red’s castle with colorful photo moments and exclusive premiums. The castle walls featured visuals from the film, in-world graffiti, and storybook pages telling the Descendants tale. As guests started their journey into the castle, they were welcomed  by a rose-adorned room featuring the heart-pumping anthem “Red” from the movie’s  soundtrack, the smell of roses, and a branded mirror to create unique Red-inspired content. Guests then walked through a time travel tunnel into Merlin’s Academy. In Merlin’s Academy, guests found themselves surrounded by a library scene from the movie featuring school picture frames and mirrors fans could step into. The room pulsed like a heartbeat revealing blacklight graffiti and a few hidden easter eggs tied to the film. Guests then exited into the castle courtyard to take a seat on the infamous Queen of Heart’s throne for a shareable Glambot video, and collected exclusive premiums.

Our experience also participated in the Great Pin Pursuit which offered a new way to explore D23! Our space included commemorative pins as part of the interactive experiences and encouraged fans to collect them all.
